COLLEGE STATE OF WASHINGTON
QuoteReply

Does anyone know what the exact dead line is for the custodial parent to file for college support?  Is it 18 or is it when they graduate?  Once they turn 18, can they still file up until they graduage or is 18 the deadline?  Also, what if the father has NO financial means to pay for college, the parents were never married, and the father has never even seen the child.  The father can barely pay his own living expenses, does a judge take this into consideration?  I don't even understand how this law is fair when you can't even force your married parents to pay for your college.
