Stationed Oversea's
QuoteReply
Im currently stationed in the United Kingdom.  Both my wife and myself are from Washington.  We got married in Alaska about 18 months ago. We are about 18 weeks along in a pregnancy with our first child.  The strange thing is , I have only been home for 14 weeks. Other then that, we are headed in the direction of divorce wether either of us want to admit itor not.  My questions are 1: Since we got married in Alaska, is that where we would need to file? Or, being military with a residency of Washington, would we start there? 2: Being military with Washington and society being biased towards the mother, would I have ANY chance at getting custody? I guess I'm just trying to see what my options are. I couldn't even to begin to know where to start with this process.
