i used the child suppport calculator at http://www.starklawoffices.com/washington-state-child-support-calculator.aspx
but it changes alot if i am taking out for reasonable business expenses or not. what can i take out?
thats a big issue however, essentially you deduct from your gross income all of the taxes and retirement union dues etc.
if you are self employed, i can tell you that this issue of what your net income is, will NOT be a simple issue in your divorce.
everyone knows that small business persons go to great lengths to claim every deduction they possibly can. the end result is that
if you bring the tax return to the table in calculating child support it may not truly be accurate as to their net income. if you spouse
does not contest your determinations as to what constitutes a reasonable business expense then things may be easier.
